A day at Paddy’s

with one comment

I love the different textures of paper. I went to Paddy’s today and she taught me how to bind a book (a.k.a. she did most of the work). I chose random pieces of paper I had collected so the book is a miss-matched collection of some of my favourite types of paper.

Paddy and I spent most of the afternoon by the harbourfront.  It was kind of chilly, but we still got icecream, because that’s what you do on a sunny summer day. In the evening, Angela came over for dinner and afterwards, we sat and chatted with coffee.

These are photos of Paddy’s cast tea bag.  It resembles amber; a substance which fossilizes instances of time.  It reminds me of the tea parties we used to have in the art room.
