The focal point of a network of limitless interrelations.

It feels like forever…

since I’ve used the internet, but in actuality it’s only been less than a week. It’s funny how depedent on it we are and how much I rely on it to stay in contact with the rest of the world.

For my birthday, a bunch of people in my program presented me with little gifts. It’s amazing how thoughtful people were considering that they just met me and just found out it was my birthday. My host mother made me a birthday cake (she is a chef/baker who makes cakes for a living) and it was effing delicious.

For the first two days we stayed at L’Auberge ser mer which is this cute inn along the Ste. Laurence. We didn’t have activities planned for those evenings so we sat by the water, drank beers and watched the sunset. It was amazing.  Afterwards, we met our host families and will be staying with the for the rest of the trip.

The time I’ve spent in Riviere-du-Loup has been super busy and sometimes a little bit overwhelming, but I need this change  of pace and scenery.

When I get less lazy I’ll post some photos. Until then, au revoir!
