The focal point of a network of limitless interrelations.

simple moments.

I have had the privilege of sitting on rocks over looking the waterfalls with the night sky full of stars overhead, with a bottle of wine and a good friend.

I have experienced the joys of thrifting with friends, sitting on grass in the sun, and being able to stop and acknowledge how happy I could be in that moment–how I would trade nothing for that moment.

I wish I could express better, either through writing or through photos what an amazing experience this has been, but I can’t.  I can’t express most of what I feel in words or through photos because they are only capable of capturing  fleeting  instances.  The moments preserved are candid, but like Henri-Cartier Bresson’s decisive moments (Behind the Gare Saint-Lazare), they manage only to capture a trace.

  1. The privilege was all mine. We need to find a suitable ‘sitting on a rock by a waterfall’ replacement for Toronto.

    • ha. It might just turn into “sitting on a rock”. We should try to find a place good for sunsets. I’ll show you the perch in philospher’s walk, but it’s not the best one.
