First Love

Just the other day, I listened to one of my friends sing Emmy’s The Hypnotist’s Son. I didn’t realize until that moment how hauntingly beautiful her lyrics were.  I went and looked up the lyrics for every single one of her songs. In that process I discovered that she had released an album, so I went and downloaded it. I’m going to hope that I can find it in Canada or at least that Amazon will ship it.   For me these songs resonate with a strong sense of loss, and nostalgia.   I wish the album included Canopies and Grapes.
