Dear Friends,

with 14 comments

I was looking through my old LJ entries . We had some mighty good times.  It amazes me that most of us have been friends for almost ten years.  I can’t express how thankful I am that despite growing up and doing different things we still make time for each other. Do you remember when we all used to go bike riding around the neighbourhood after-school, or when we explored the huge dirt mountains that sat on the rapidly developing suburban landscape?

fig1. Super old hand developed b&w photo from more rebellious times.

P.S. my itunes definitely is playing Less than Jake’s Look what happened, for those of you who care.  Can I ask you what your favourite memories are? Is that too cheesy? If you guys answer I swear I’ll repost some old posts.

Teddy do you have the video project we made for Gr. 12 non-trad art? I want to watch it in all it’s synchronized glory.

    • That’s a random one. Was that when we made Las Meninas into 3d? Most of my memories are from summer, or in early spring just as we’re about to be let out. Things like sitting at the park watching stars, or playing football in the dark, or remember when the cops came and tried to book us for drinking? I read one LJ entry where I wrote about you going into the trunk and us driving to find all the speed bumps in our neighbourhood.

    • hahahaha. I remember the building of forts in the forest, but I don’t remember being chased by you guys. Unless that’s the time we started the mud fight? Oh my god, remember how we all used to hang out at Calvin’s house, in his basement? And the drag race we had down his street?

I like how your personal favourite is when I blocked you. I don’t remember doing that to be honest. But I’m glad we moved past that 😛

I’ll probably eventually need help with CSS, I’ll let you know when I stop procrastinating.

but yea, do you remember the time we were walking around the hallways at lunch one day talking about skanking, and someone walked by us, cant remember who exactly, who was sort of a skank.

  9. i don’t have a blog so i found this rather late. my favourite moments are a mixture of the different things we built or attempted to build. shopping cart racer, swords, “fort”, etc. with a few moments when dexter gets in trouble for things he half did.

i do have the video! i’ve kept it in a safe place. i don’t want to see or have anyone else see the battle of the bands videos though hahaha. i believe david also has custody of a video worth watching.
